Interns 2008/2009

Situations supports students studying on the BA Fine Art and BA Art and Visual Culture degrees, as well as MA Fine Art at the University of the West of England. The programme offers a number of project-specific internships, which run over the course of a year. This coming academic year we have the following students working with us.

Jamie Walling will be working on the permanent commission Situations is overseeing for the Bristol University’s centenary year. Jamie will be assisting New Zealand based curator Frances Loeffler to produce, and develop the new artwork between September 08 and June 09.

Emma Ridley  will be the Situations Office intern, working closely with Katie Daley-Yates the Situations Project Assistant to develop new email marketing and create an archiving system for past Situations projects.

Anouk Mercier and Stella Billingham-Henderson will both be working on Bristol Interrupted a programme of temporary commissions developed by Situations for The Depot, a commercial development of the former Sorting Office building opposite Bristol Temple Meads station.
