Katie Daley-Yates

Katie Daley-Yates, Programme Co-ordinator

Katie Daley-Yates has worked for Situations since 2005 and has an in-depth working knowledge of the programme. She is responsible for the co-ordination of all projects, management of the Situations office and administration as well as running the internship programme. She has also given lectures on Situations projects and taken part in public discussions regarding public art commissioning. Independently Katie has undertaken a six-month Curatorial Internship at Spike Island, which led to her developing an experimental exhibition for the Project Space - Responses: three approaches to one space (2008) and northcabin, a series of short-term commissions for Redcliffe Bridge, Bristol City Centre (2008-2009). Her independent practice has enabled her to develop diverse skills in commissioning contemporary art, which contribute greatly to her position at Situations.
